Re: To VIP or not to VIP I did it my first year in 2007. Total waste of money back then to me. Maybe its improved since then. I was moving around too much to take advantage of it.

They gave free water, and the beer was cheaper than at the GA beer stands. You also got to use cash and not have to fool w/ those stupid tickets. I wasn't that impressed w/ VIP camping since it was much farther from the "mushroom state" and they didn't use the other stage out in the field for the big acts. There was a shuttle that ran non-stop though and took you to VIP camping. I would definitely do VIP at Bear Creek again. It paid for itself w/ the cheaper beer prices.

is booze cheaper too?
last year i hid a case of beer inside the vending area at like 5am. picked up a bag of ice each day. Thanks for the idea Barry!
