You can get recipes online. I made some with apple cider, apple juice, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks. It was yummy! 8-)

Good friend of mine used to make a mash out of Black Currants and let it soak in Moonshine for 8 months he would then strain it. It graded out at 180 proof and tasted super smooth then it hit the back of your throat and the moonshine warmth would kick in.
Powerful stuff and dangerous because it tasted so good. ;)

Homemade is always better than store bought. However, there is legal moonshine in stores now. Midnight Moon apple pie is great!

I have read the online recipes and they are not much different than what I do. I add a little different ingredient or two and away we go.
Got a buddy that makes shine....but I think vodka/everclear/store bought shine would work. The store bought shine is just 80 proof, so it is not as strong....thus you might have to add more to get the kick.
Basically, apple pie shine is kinda like wine without doing all the fermenting and working the alcohol yourself. You are just taking the sweetness of the fruit (as in wine) and adding the alcohol rather than letting it make it on it's own.

I can bring you a half gallon of 190 Everclear from here in Georgia to make it with. I don't think they sell it in Florida.

Only sell 150 in Florida...but that is strong enough. If you want it stronger....you just add a little more.
Just don't overindulge as it will kick your butt later.
