The camping and comradery at camp is what truly makes it a wonderful experience.
Agreed. The first time I went to a fest there I got a room when I thought I was "close". Ha! Was about 20 miles east, the other side of I-75! Ended up staying at the fest(Mag)! It's the company of like minded souls groovin' rockin' rollin'...(drinkin' stinkin' winkin' blinkin') havin' a throw down good time!!! Whoot!!!
Birds of a feather are flocking outside
Like whippets they dance in a curly-queue dance
Of pulses and ringing and campfire chants
Of ritual drumming although at first glance
You thought you could run but you won't take a chance
It's not an experience if they can't bring someone along
They hang on emotions they bottle inside
They peck at the ground
And strut out of stride.
