We didn't get any bat poo on us, we were far enough away but it was awsome to watch them come out at dusk. It's only a beer walk to the mushroom stage from there, 2 if your real thirsty!

ive camped near the bat house but as mentioned on the forum long ago thats where the music parks tells people its okay to have a running generator. its noisy everywhere but having a running generator right near you sucks. i suggest other areas of the park to camp

We got there on Thursday last year just after noon & it was crazy finding a spot for us. (which is biggest reason we're coming early this year!) We we're near a barn off a golf cart track- I think between b & C camping.

I personally enjoy camping over behind VIP catering/Peach stage, at the end of the RV sites, down River Rd. It will get pretty packed pretty quickly, but that's my spot of choice for any SOSMP event typically.

A spot that I have yet to try but that looks very nice is one of the areas overlooking the river. It would be pretty cool to wake up and see the river.

I like fields B or C, a beers walk to the peach entrance (unless its a hoppy motha like Dales pale Ale) There is a hill, if you can camp on the other side it cuts down on the noise when you need it too. I remember by Thursday morning there were people lodging tents in every crook and cranny they could. Cool thing is , nobody cares. We came to get down.

i learned that nobody ever camps on the roof of the general store. i'm going to try that.
