for me it's fun to read, cause about everything is the same thing I say..... I really do love festivals. I love big one's because of the awesome line-ups and the big groups you can bring, then I love small ones because you can actually meet everyone and make even more gratefriends!

I really appreciate a well organized, smooth flowing entry process.

Free water stations inside the concert grounds where you can fill your glass of bottle or whatever.

Really liking the stainless steel pint glass from Klean Kanteen like at Floyd and Festy this year. It is what you use for water and beer. They only served it in your pint glass. Cut down on tons (literally) of plastic cups.

Adequate flow into concert grounds. Don't make everyone funnel down into a single turnstile.

If it's a small fest then I like the once you are in you are in concept. No seperation/gate between concert field and campground.

Two stages with no overlapping sets. All Good vs Bonnaroo are 2 entirely different experiences. But it works for all sizes Mantrabash was only 800 or so and it was perfect. Worked at Camp Barefoot, Jomeokee and Festy too with the addition of a small side stage.

Keep the port-os clean. Often. And make sure they all have even the crummy plastic slide locks. Half of them at Barefoot were so ghetto they didn't.

Make it as local as possible. Local food vendors and local beer.

I like a coordinated effort by the facility to take care of all the details big and small so that once I arrive, all I have to do is listen to the music, commune with friends and dance, dance, dance......

Since this will be my first festival I will be seeing everything through childlike eyes and reading all your posts has been building an excitement better than Christmas morning. I hope to enjoy as much of the experience that I can.
