Hey y'all- in the case we don't get an RV spot, we will be parking it somewhere in primitive camping. A friend of mine says he thinks he remembers pumping trucks coming around last year, where you could pay them to pump out the sewage tank. Does anyone have first-hand, semi-sober knowledge of this? I don't think he slept all weekend

No first hand knowledge, but I heard about the pump trucks from reliable sources. If I could just remember who the reliable sources were??? Must not have been totally sober when I heard about it. Sorry, my knowledge is neither first hand nor sober, so I don't know why I responded.

rvrrat and Andie used their services at magfest....if the truck can get to the site they will pump it, just remember, if you park it too far off the beaten path, especially at wanee, the truck prolly won't be able to get to it

Completely non sober. Can almost verify. If u have to do primitive, don't be too far out. Granted we've been WAY out before.

It was $25, have exact change! I saw Wally paying them with $25 cash and when I tried to give the guy $30, he said "We don't have any change."

Don't remember ever seeing them in 2011 but last Wanee we caught them a few times in Horse Camp area--$25. Seemed a little random when they came around and you had to be there to catch them but it was worth the $$ not to have to drive the RV to the dump station. Never managed to catch them on Sat. and since both Wanee dump stations were closed (full) on Sunday we drove to Orlando with a not so very fragrant full tank
