 Tonight I'm going to go see... Thought I'd start a thread so we could all keep up with who/what we are all seeing. You know, in case of an emergency or something.

how was Kung Fu? They are playing at the Blind Tiger tonight in Greensboro and trying to decide if I can go. Saw Patterson Hood in Carrboro last night. Small theater that seats 350 and probably 200 there. Really cool show.

Re: Tonight I'm going to go see... mule4ever, Go see Kung Fu. Super funky jazz fusion. The walked on to stage, said "We are The Wyld Stallyns", and ripped into a Eddie Van Halen Eruption intro. Solid show thoughout. Tim Palmieri shreds guitar and Todd Stoops is a kick ass keyboard player. Imagine 70's funk-fusion meets a modern dance party!
Love the Artscenter in Carrboro. I've seen some really cool stuff there. Leo Kottke, Robert Fripp, Richard Thompson, Johnny Winter, Steve Earle...
You going to venture out for moe. or Jimmie Herring?
