Peach Music Festival was is no doubt, my second fav fest.
The musical event of my life, year, month?

Two great ABB sets, Derek and Warren tore up Dreams and Splinters and jammed with a whole lot of guests.
My third GPN show of the summer, her guitar player Scotty laughed and stuck his tongue out at us while soloing when he saw us on the rail once again.
Mule rocks so hard, Warren is a classic rock jukebox. During a jam, he played a couple of lines of The Turtles "So Happy Together".

We stayed at the artist hotel, purely by chance. Took a pic with Warren and ate breakfast with Butch at the next table.

Weir performed five times (Two Ratdog and one acoustic) and played schoolgirl with ABB and Tom Thumb Blues with The Black Crowes. Chris Robinson introduced Bobby as the mayor of Peach Fest. He was sure in good spirits, messing with lyrics, like, "Wiinona Rider, why did you steal those clothes?" and "Dear Prudence, come greet the crappy day".

Sunday solo Bob was very cool, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsmPrqNGCOI&list=PL1E-4sCBrbUeDnFUXVZCjy92pWuSAWitO

Love seeing part of the family there.....know you guys had a grate time...
Listening to Bob and Grace on "Dear Prudence" was def a highlite. While not to high standards of performance...it is still beautiful.."and so are you."

Wish the old Beatles were still around to do the festie scene. Too bad they went their separate ways...and didn't live long enough for us. Paul is too important for little ol' us.....Plus he wants hundreds of dollars a show. Too sad.....
