Re: Hanging lights at camp in primitive camping
I'll probably go the battery route this year and scope out the park better this time so i can find a good place that's shady for my tent but sunny enough for solar

If you use the led lights, a inverter and battery will last ya the entire week.... but if ya use regular christmas lights, ya get about 4 hrs before it drains it... of course we did have 20 sets wired upin the trees!! lol... i bring a extra deep cycle marine battery in addition to the deep cycle marine battery that stays on my truck... worst case scenario, i just gotta jump myself off!

I got my light situation taken care of. I just placed an order for a battery powered 64-LED light strand, and (3) 9ft assorted color battery operated light wires for less than $35 on amazon.

This is honestly the only thing I needed a plugin outlet for. If you haven't seen these do yourself a favor,go to spencers gifts and get a pair. Goes great with any party favor. only $30 https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10 ... =2&theater
