Great song True that. I second that, my oldest (she's 36) called several days ago all excited telling me to tune to a radio channel that was playing this song, it was one of our favorite singalongs during family trips, I may even have the cassette somewhere.....

 Re: One Hit Wonders
1965 was a nirvana-like year in terms of music. And these were some of the one-hit jobs, most of them memorable and enjoyable to sing along to (have you TRIED singing along with the garbage on the radio these days? What? Can't autotune yourself?)
Eve of Destruction -- Barry McGuire (also the former lead singer of the New Christie Minstrels on "Green, Green" Rescue Me -- Fontella Bass (and recorded with her husband, Lester Bowie, and his band, the Art Ensemble of Chicago!) Liar, Liar -- the Castaways Lies -- the Knickerbockers Treat Her right -- Roy Head (with one of the greatest screams in all of pop rock) Keep On Dancin' -- the Gentrys (who covered "Cinnamon Girl" later on) Land of 1000 Dances -- Cannibal and the Headhunters I Fought the Law -- Bobby Fuller Four and last, and least (not for the music, which was Bach's): A Lover's Concerto -- the Toys
