all of the speed metal/deathmetal/sounds like a beast music bands with names so vile even I won't print them here.

I love teaching conic sections in Algebra 2 and above. When a plane intersects a cone (or two cones), it can create a circle, ellipse, parabola or hyperbola. However, sometimes the intersection doesn't produce any of those; instead, you just get a point, a line, or two lines. Since these do not generate conic sections, they have a name. so I would call my band:
DEGENERATE CONIX
If it were a metal band, it would be TRANSVERSE AXIS.
