I saw Sabbath on this tour in 1971. Humble Pie opened, then Sabbath, then Mountain. somehow, the Spectrum did not collapse.
My eardrums, on the other hand...
Actually, bands back then really were not as ridiculously loud as some are today.
LOUDER does not = BETTER.
