I totally understand this post Nole, Thomas County is near completely flooded... the Ochlocknee river is spilling over US19.. and we have numerous road closures... a state of emergency was declared for the county last night..... all this while i was in sunny south florida at GratefulThems house for the weekend.... i should have just stayed there... now im paddling to work... and then paddling back cause cant get to where i need to be.... so now its a day off

Just looked up your area....The flood stage for the Thomasville reading is 15 ft. Your last river reading was at 21.5 ft. Hope you don't live close to the river Adam

You can go on NOAA.gov When the screen comes up...enter your zip code or address and it will go to a NOAA weather page....proceed to the bottom of the page and you will see a category for river and lake readings....click on it and a screen for your area will come up. Click on your river.
This is good for everyone, whether it is for river readings, hurricanes or snow. Much better than most weather pages.

im about 3 miles from the river, i actually live in Ochlocknee, the water never makes it that far, but all the smaller bridges and roadways are now inpassable that head to Thomasville... its a damn mess

a pic from the new bridge on US19 taken of the old bridge... Effin Crazy!!

reports now say water is now only 1 ft from the main bridge... if water rises anymore they will shut down US 19... which is my last route to town, beings how the river got everything else already
